Just You Wait

Sometimes things seem to be going bad and getting worse. These seasons can be very discouraging and difficult times emotionally. Often anxiety begins to run high and worry begins to take over. What should you do? Aside from the obvious things like trying to figure out what's wrong and fix it, one of the most beneficial things to do is to wait. Wait? Why wait? Waiting is one of the things we least feel like doing when things are going badly. But waiting has several benefits.
1. When we wait we are choosing not to make a move based on our anxiety or feelings of hopelessness.
2. When we wait we are opening up the possibility that we are not seeing all that is going on and creating space for more information to come in.
3. When we wait we often gain a new perspective.

Things not working out for you? Be careful about moving too fast. Just you wait, there is a good chance things will get better soon.
