Thinking Well

It's amazing how two people can view the exact same data in completely different ways.

One person goes through a hard time and... asks what they can learn from it... determines to do better next time... feels it's their turn for something good to happen... takes responsibility for their part.

Another person goes through a hard time and... feel that they always get bad luck... walks around in a cloud of depression... blames things beyond their control... identifies themselves as losers.

How you think is partly a result of your genetic heritage. It is partly a result of how you were raised. But you can also rewire your heart and mind. Part of how you think is a result of the choices you make and the way you have wired yourself to think. With effort, intentionality, discipline, training and accountability you can learn to think well. And if that sounds tough...well, it is... but it is well worth it!

Phil. 4:8 "And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."
