Eddie was driving down a curving road and a met a car coming the other way. Although there was room to pass easily, Eddie forced the oncoming car to slow down and wound down his window and shouted 'Pig'. The other driver looked in his rear view mirror and swore at Eddie. Then his car hit the pig.
There is so much power in changing your perspective. The truth is that God's perspective is always the best perspective and He invites us to read His word and saturate ourselves in His thoughts and learn to see life more and more from His perspective.
One way to see if you have lost God's perspective is to measure your "peace" levels. When we see things from God's perspective our hearts are filled with peace, even in the midst of a storm.
Col. 3:1,2 "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."
