A Reflective Life

I just got back from a 15 minute prayer walk. I did not beseech the Lord for any great thing. I did not pray the Lord's prayer with my most proper English. What I did do was take some time to sort out my thoughts and frustrations. I considered what was worth being upset about (not much) and what was best to stop worrying about (everything). I wrestled with some of my disappointments and invited God into the areas where I have neglected to have Him involved. Along the way I realized that things are not nearly as bad as I had perceived them. I realized that I have a ton to be thankful for.

Reflection is one of the most important and one of the most neglected practices of our day.
